Accelerated tax deduction
Solar qualifies for accelerated deduction in the first fiscal year, which improves cash flow and lowers income tax (ISR).
Turnkey industrial solar in northern Mexico, from 50 kWp to several MW: engineering, balance-of-plant electrical work, maintenance, and interconnection with CFE, Mexico's state-owned electric utility.
CFE's industrial rates rise year after year: GDMTO, the ordinary (non-time-of-use) medium-voltage rate, and GDMTH, the time-of-use rate for medium-voltage customers with high demand. Electricity is the third-largest operating expense, after payroll and raw materials.
Voltage sags, momentary outages, voltage spikes and poor power quality during peak hours are damaging your critical equipment.
Customers in the EU and the United States already ask for CBAM (Carbon Border Adjustment) documentation, measurable Scope 2 and certified renewable energy. Without the paperwork, contracts are lost. A grid-connected solar system generates CELs (Mexico's Clean Energy Certificates) and automatic ESG reporting.
Every peso paid to CFE is a peso you cannot invest in growth, equipment or people.
Solar qualifies for accelerated deduction in the first fiscal year, which improves cash flow and lowers income tax (ISR).
After payback, 25+ more years of generation at no cost. The project pays for itself out of the monthly savings.
We comply with NOM-001-SEDE (Mexico's electrical installation standard), CFE's rules for interconnection to the national grid and every provision that applies, so interconnection brings no surprises.
Panels installed with no upfront investment. You pay only for the energy generated, under a long-term contract.
When an inverter fails and your installer is not an authorized service center, your plant waits 4 to 8 weeks while the unit is shipped to China. As the only GOODWE Authorized Service Center in Sonora, we handle it directly: diagnosis within 24 hours, replacement on site. An idle inverter is an idle solar plant, and that is not an option in an industrial operation.
Every PSE system delivers real-time telemetry: generation, self-consumption, surplus and alerts. You see the numbers; we watch the performance.

For industrial systems from 50 kWp to several MW, the typical range is MXN 18 to 22 per watt-peak installed, turnkey, depending on the technology, the type of structure (rooftop, ground mount or canopy), the electrical distance to the point of interconnection and the total size. An average 250 kWp industrial project runs MXN 4.5 to 5.5 million before VAT. The exact figure depends on the technical assessment of the site and on the financing option you choose: cash purchase, loan or PPA.
Yes. Your CFE rate depends on your voltage level and contracted demand pattern, not on whether you have panels. Under the exempt distributed generation category (up to 500 kW) or the small-producer category (up to 1 MW), the plant stays connected on its original GDMTH rate and the system reduces the energy charge. The peak-hour demand charge goes down only if solar is combined with storage or if the generation profile matches your contracted demand curve. We calculate both effects in the design.
A PPA (power purchase agreement) is an arrangement in which a third party finances, installs and operates the solar system at your site, and the plant pays only for the energy generated, at a per-kWh rate lower than CFE's. There is no upfront investment. It makes sense when you need to free up capital for growth, when you cannot use the tax deduction, or when you prefer to move the cost to operating expense without touching the balance sheet. For a PPA to be financeable, consumption must be above 350,000 kWh per year and there must be a stable lease or ownership of the property.
For systems in the exempt distributed generation category (up to 500 kW), the CFE process typically takes 6 to 10 weeks: application, technical ruling, signing the interconnection contract and the change to a bidirectional meter. For small-producer systems (500 kW to 1 MW) the process is longer, 4 to 6 months, because it requires a grid impact study. PSE manages the entire filing: engineering, the application package, follow-up with CFE and coordination of the meter change.
Modern PV inverters operate at a power factor close to unity. But when solar reduces the active energy you draw from the grid, the reactive energy of your inductive loads does not change, so the net power factor that CFE measures can get worse. If your plant already runs at a low power factor, a solar installation can increase the penalty unless it is compensated. Our industrial designs always include a post-installation power factor analysis and, where it applies, a corrective capacitor bank. It is part of the deliverable, not a surprise extra cost.
Yes. Article 34, section XIII of the Mexican Income Tax Law (LISR) allows a 100% deduction of the amount invested in renewable generation equipment in the fiscal year in which the investment is made, provided the asset stays in operation for at least 5 years. It applies to companies and to sole proprietors. To use the benefit, the invoice must cover equipment, installation and engineering that are separable from the building. Our invoices and technical package are prepared to support the deduction in the event of a review by SAT, Mexico's tax authority.
In an industrial operation, a stopped inverter means a plant generating at only half its capacity. When the installer is not an authorized service center, a GOODWE warranty replacement goes through the importer, and the unit is shipped to China for diagnosis and back: a wait of 4 to 8 weeks. As the only GOODWE Authorized Service Center in Sonora, we handle it directly: diagnosis within 24 hours, replacement from on-site inventory and warranty closure with no intermediaries. For an industrial plant, that difference is worth more than the price of the project.
A well-executed industrial project is rarely just panels. These three lines are often combined to deliver the full savings and a stable operation.
If your bill carries a power factor penalty, correcting it before or along with solar keeps the penalty from getting worse. Typical ROI of 6 to 18 months.
